The Bauhaus Large, Cigar Brown Bag is handcrafted and in terms of aesthetics, remains true to the famous Bauhaus quote “the form should follow function”.
The bag is made of Cretan pull-up leather (waxed leather). This leather ages gracefully and obtains a one-of-a-kind look.
The interior is made out of heavy cotton drill, and it is very capacious for its convenient size, with three padded dividers to ensure that your camera and lens will remain safe. The dividers are removable so that you can adjust them according to your equipment and needs. You can even take them out completely and use the Bauhaus bag as a very stylish everyday bag. The bag features gun steel effect hardware throughout.
Apart from the main compartment, there are also two slots for extra storage, one in front, for your mobile and passport or other small accessories, and one in the back that can fit a tablet.
The bag is weatherproof and load-bearing, thanks to its meticulous and durable stitching, being ideal for photographers who are constantly on the move, walking in the streets or the countryside, to carry their valuable gear with safety and style. We have added in all our bags side weather protection flaps, for enhanced shielding against rain and dust.
The Bauhaus Large bags come with an adjustable leather shoulder strap with a shoulder pad for added comfort and it incorporates a thick leather strip on the back for trolley-friendly use.
There is an additional rear open pocket, which offers space for a tablet or other accessories.
Every Bauhaus Large bag has secure tuck-clasp closure and 5 protective feet at the base.
All Bauhaus Bags feature our distinctive red dot.

Alaa Esmaiel –
I’ve ordered the BAUHAUS as soon as I learned about it, and I’ve been using it to carry my Leica SL2. The following are my observations after using the bag for almost a month. The exterior of the bag is made of sturdy leather that feels both durable and luxurious, and the soft inner lining guarantees that my gear is secure while I’m on the move – often on crowded public transportation where I have to hastily stow the bag in overstuffed bins or underneath seats. The bag opens with two side wings that add another layer of protection to the contents, and the front buckles lock the bag with a comforting strength. The case is spacious enough for my SL2 with a mounted lens, along with additional space left for a small pair of binoculars and other accessories. Another advantage is the geometric shape of the bag: its “boxy” construction allows for it to cozily fit inside a cupboard or a drawer when storing the gear – or to nicely fit within my midsize carry-on case when I board an airplane and must abide by a single piece of luggage per passenger.
To summarize my experience with this superb bag: I absolutely love it, and I trust it will provide me with years of service!
