Well the story of Tie Her Up camera straps starts like this…
It was spring of 2015 a guy had a camera with no strap. He thought : ” I must make a good strap for this beauty… ” . A week or so after, he went to a pet shop to buy a leash for his dog , Chelsea. He liked the feeling of the waxed leather of the leash, went to a shoe repair shop opposite and said to the old man sitting behind the bench, ” can you please cut it here and there and …”
“CHOOSING LEATHER FOR MY FIRST CAMERA STRAP, I REMEMBERED THE WORDS OF MY GRANDMOTHER’S BROTHER WHO WAS A SHOE MAKER IN ALEXANDRIA, EGYPT: “LEATHER IS ALIVE… TREAT IT WITH LOVE …”.
So I did and, even though this first strap was a bit “primitive”, it did the job, had character and was very strong. That’s how Tie Her Up was born!
Now, Tie Her Up products, still handmade, still with A-quality Italian and Greek leather, still stitched by hand and always for camera lovers, are assembled by two professionals in leather, ex belt and bag makers.
Our straps are made from premium full grain Italian and Greek leather and climbing ropes. Tie Her Up camera straps are very durable, improve as they age and of course soften as you use them.

Evris has done more than 1000 commercials in Greece, Egypt, Dubai, Lebanon, Portugal, Turkey, Morocco, Ukraine and Colombia, carrying and using Leicas and SLR cameras, for more than 35 years.
Having to do with cameras both by profession and affection, I always wanted to make a custom-made leather wrist strap for his Leica.
